Minor fire near Amarnath cave, fireman wounded
Srinagar, July 6 (UNI) A minor fire broke out near the holy cave shrine of Amarnath in south Kashmir Himalayas last night in which a tent belonging to the state police got damaged and a fire service personnel sustained injuries, official sources said today.
They said the fire broke out near the holy cave last night due to a short circuit.
The sources said the tent erected by the Jammu and Kashmir police and a wireless set charger inside it got damaged in the fire.
A fire service personnel, Abdul Rashid Chopan, sustained wounds while dousing the blaze, the sources added.
