Metal prices remain flat on moderate industrial demand

Mumbai, July 6 (UNI) Metal prices today remained steady on small industrial demand, traders at the Bombay Metal Exchange said.

Following are the spot metal prices per quintal: Ferrous metals: Copper heavy - Rs 35,200, Copper utensils - Rs 32,000, Brass utensils - Rs 25,600, Brass cuttings - Rs 27,500 and Aluminium utensils - Rs 11,400.

Non-ferrous metals: Copper wire bars - Rs 38,700, Aluminium ingots - Rs 13,400, Zinc slabs - Rs 18,200, Lead ingots - Rs 10,500, Tin slab - Rs 700 (per kg) and Nickel cathode - Rs 1,675 (per kg).
