Jilted Lankan girl seeks police help against lover

Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu, July 6 (UNI) A Sri Lankan young woman today lodged a complaint with the All Women Police Station here against a local youth, who allegedly cheated on her with the promise of marriage.

According to police, K Natesh Kumar (35) of Cuddalore and S Nirosha (23) of Sri Lanka were studying Hotel Management in Singapore and had an affair. When Nirosha became pregnent, Natesh Kumar left for Cuddalore without her knowledge where his parents were busy with his marriage arrangements.

On information, the girl came to Cuddalore and lodged a complaint. However, the police were in a fix as they did not know what action had to be taken since the whole incident happened in Singapore and Nirosha was still waiting in front of the All Women Police Station here.
