Information Minister condoles death of Shubendhu Chatterjee

Kolkata, July 6 (UNI) Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Das Munshi today condoled the demise of veteran actor Shubendhu Chatterjee, who passed away here last night at the age of 71.

Mr Das Munshi in a message said Chatterjee had etched out his acting ability beautifully in the era of Uttam Kumar and made his present felt in the character role.

The minister also expressed his heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family.

After four decades of acting in motion picture and a successful dramatist Chatterjee was consinged to flame at Keoratolla burning ghat today.
