Kerala: IBRA to reconstitute Rubber Board
Kottayam, July 6: Indian Block Rubber Processors Association (IBRA) Chairman K K Abraham today appealed to the Union Government to reconstitute the Rubber Board immediately.
Criticising the Commerce Ministry for the delay in reconstituting the Board, he alleged that various policies of the Rubber Board could not be evolved in the absence of the Board.
Even the approval of the logo for Indian Rubber was pending for the past ten months in the absence of the Board.
The Rubber Production Commissioner's post was also remaining vacant, he said and added that the absence of the Board was detrimental to the growers' interests.
