Heavy rains force ECoR to cancel, short terminate trains
Bhubaneswar, July 6 (UNI) Heavy rains in West Bengal forced the East Coast Railways (ECoR) to cancel the 2822 Bhubaneswar-Howrah Dhauli Express today and 2821 Howrah-Bhubaneswar Dhauli Express tomorrow.
The Bhubaneswar-Howrah-Bhubaneswar Jan Shatabdi Express had been cancelled today between Santragachi and Howrah, while the 467 Howrah-Bhadrak Passenger leaving Howrah today was cancelled and the 468 Bhadrak-Howrah Passenger would be cancelled tomorrow.
ECoR sources said the 8410 Puri-Howrah Jagannath Express had been short terminated at Santragachi, the 468 Bhadrak-Howrah Passenger at Kharagpur and the 2074 Bhubaneswar-Howrah Jan Shatabdi Express at Santragachi.
The 462 Jajpur-Keonjhar Road-Kharagpur Passenger was short terminated at Contai Road and will be back as 461 Kharagpur-Jajpur -Keonjhar Road Passenger from Contai Road to Jajpur-Keonjhar Road today.
The 204 Khurda Road-Kharagpur Passenger train was short terminated at Contai Road today and will be back as 203 Kharagpur-Khurda Road passenger from Contai Road to Khurda Road tomorrow.
The 2895 Howrah-Puri Weekly Express will now leave Shalimar instead of its scheduled departure from Howrah station today.
The 8478 Haridwar-Puri Kalinga Utkal Express will run from Rourkela via Jharsuguda, Sambalpur and Angul instead of its regular running path.
Similarly,the 8477 Puri-Haridwar Kalinga Utkal Express leaving Puri today will run via Sambalpur, Angul and Jharsuguda.
UNI
