Haneef's family members appeals Prime Minister

Bangalore, July 06 (UNI) Mohammed Shoaib, the youngher brother of Dr Mohammed Haneef, who was detained by Australian police in connection with last week's thwarted terror attack on Glasgow Airport, has appealed Indian Prime Minsiter Mr Manmohan Singh to facilitate telephonic talk with his sibling.

Speaking to UNI Mr Shoaib, the pre-university student has pleaded that his brother was innocent and can not beleive that he was involved in any way with terrorists.

He said that all the family members who were in grief were making their appeal through media to the Indian Prime Minister to facilitate for conservation with his brother who was detained by the Australian police.

Mr Shoaib however refused to talk anything more on the issue.
