Haneef's family members appeal to Prime Minister
Bangalore, July 6 (UNI) Mohammed Shoaib, the younger brother of Dr Mohammed Haneef, who was detained by Australian police in connection with last week's thwarted terror attack on Glasgow Airport, appealed to Prime Minsiter Manmohan Singh to facilitate telephonic talk with his sibling.
Talking to UNI Mr Shoaib, a Pre-University student has pleaded that his brother was innocent and cannot believe that he was involved in any way with terrorists.
He said all the family members who were in grief were making their appeal through media to the Prime Minister to facilitate a conversation with his brother who was detained by the Australian police.
Mr Shoaib, however, refused to say anything further on the issue.
