GAIL appoints new Director-Marketing

New Delhi, July 6 (UNI) Gas Authority of India (GAIL) Ltd today said the company has appointed Mr B C Tripathi as the new Director (Marketing).

Prior to taking over this post, Mr Tripathi was Executive Director (Projects) with the company.

He will be responsible for marketing GAIL's complete range of products and services in the field of natural gas, including R-LNG, LPG, Propane and other liquid hydrocarbons, Petrochemicals (HDPE and LLDPE) and bandwidth leasing in Telecom sector.

He joined GAIL during its inception in 1984 and has over 25 years experience in gas sector. Prior to joining GAIL he had also worked in ONGC.

During his tenure in operations, he has been actively involved in customer relations and servicing of major consumers in gas sector.
