Financial aid to kin of those killed in rain-related incidents

Surat, Jul 6 (UNI) The State governmnet has provided financial assistance of Rs 50,000 to the kin of people who were killed in rain-related incidents in the district during the monsoon season.

The families of Jairam Gamit, Bharat Gopji Gamit, Gaman Singh Mogiya Gamit, Ratilal Nadiya, Anis Bodabhai, Mahesh Balu Gamit, Vinod Gamit. Rakesh Mahesh Gamit, Jashu Nayaka and Jamna Dahya Patel were given Rs 50,000.

Of the Rs 50,000 aid, Rs 25,000 was chipped in by the Centre and the remaining amount from Chief Minister's Relief Fund, sources added.
