DU graduate, IBM employees arrested for drug peddling
New Delhi, July 6 (UNI) A Delhi University graduate and two IBM call centre employees have been arrested from the posh Greater Kailash area of South Delhi for peddling drugs in the Captal.
Investigations revealed that all the three -- Manoj Saikia, Charanjit Singh and Shinoj Varghese -- had a good background and their arrest led to the seizure of 150 grams of hashish yesterday, according to the police.
The arrests were made following a tip-off on their 'operations'.
While Manoj Saikia (26), a Bhagat Singh College graduate, was a freelance photographer and had worked as a teacher in a mass communication institute, his colleagues Charanjit and Shinoj (both 24) worked with the IBM call centre in Gurgaon.
Charanjit, who had studied in a reputed school in Dehradun, had left the call centre job an year back and was full time into drug supplying.
Shinoj had studied in Army School in Delhi cantonment area till Class VIII, police added.
