Chouhan to lead next Assbly elections in MP: Rajnath

Bhopal, July 6 (UNI) Lauding the Madhya Pradesh Government for heading in the right direction, BJP President Rajnath Singh today said the next state Assembly elections would be fought under the leadership of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Talking to reporters here, Mr Singh praised the work done by the Shivraj Singh Chouhan Government and said the party would return to power under his leadership.

Regarding defeat of the BJP during Shivpuri by-elections, the BJP President said in-depth review had been carried out and reasons had been identified for the loss. He said recurrence would not take place.

Regarding cabinet expansion in Madhya Pradesh, he said the matter lay in the Chief Minister's domain and he had no connection with it.

On recent cabinet expansion in Chhattisgarh after his visit, Mr Singh said it was merely a coincidence.
