Bollywood stars descend to bless Raj Babbar's newly-wed daughter

Agra, July 6 (UNI) Bollywood stars descend here tonight in the Taj city to bless the newly-wed daughter of actor-turned-politician Raj Babbar.

A galaxy of Bollywood personalities, including Govinda, Shatrughan Sinha and Rajat Kapoor are expected to mark their presence in the 'aashirwad ceremony' today.

Leading the political bandwagon are Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Priya Ranjan Das Munshi, Union Steel Minister Ram Vilas Paswan, BJP president Rajnath Singh, Ahmad Patel and Janardan Dwivedi.

Juhi Babbar and Bijoy Nambiar had tied the nuptial knot on June 27 at Mumbai.

According to sources, about 70,000 invitation cards had been distributed in the Taj city alone and nearby 30,000 people given verbal invitation.

Interestingly, Raj Babbar is also the local MP and a former Samajwadi Party leader.

Preparations were in full-swing for the party, to be thrown at the 'Taar Ghar Maidan'. The menu includes a gamut of culinary delights by specialised cooks, organiser Sameer Chaturvedi told UNI here.

Agra's famous 'balooshahi' and 'moong-dal halwa' would be served to welcome the guests.

UNI
