Ban on cigarette, tobacco and pan-masala in UP Secretariat

Lucknow, July 6 (UNI) With a view to maintain cleanliness, the Uttar Pradesh government has banned the consumption of pan-masala, tobacco and cigarette in the Secretariat.

The Secretariat campus has been declared as the 'No-Smoking Zone' and a government order to the effect had been issued by the administration yesterday, sources said.

According to the government order, the person caught violating the rule would be charged Rs 100 fine.
