Baba Arts' inks deal with Star

New Delhi, July 6 (UNI) A Mumbai-based company has acquired copyrights, excluding theatre and music rights, of the new live-action animated film 'My Friend Ganesha.' Baba Arts, a player in Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) in the entertainment sector, today said of various rights acquired by it, the company has sold satellite rights and merchandising and licensing rights to Star Network.

It said this is the first time that Star has got such rights for a Hindi movie.

Baba, which acquired the rights for 11 years for an undisclosed sum, added it, however, still holds the movie's world wide video rights and for all TV formats; theatrical rights outside India; internet and broad band rights; air borne and high seas rights; and mobile rights.
