Accused in human trafficking case remanded to judicial custody

Hyderabad, July 6 (UNI) The First Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate yesterday remanded Mohd Shameemuddin alias Shakeel, an accused in the sensational human trafficking case, to 15-day judicial custody here.

Police said Shakeel, an associate of Rasheed, the kingpin in the fake passport case, was arrested by Mumbai police on Wednesday night and brought here yesterday morning.

Shakeel had unsuccessfully contested the Local Body elections as an Independent candidate, supported by Telugu Desam Party(TDP).
