A woman washed away at Narayanpur Dam

Gulbarga July 6 (UNI) Little did they expect that their picnic trip would turn into a tragedy when a woman of a 10-member group of a family accidently fell and washed away at the Narayanpur Dam in Shorapur taluk in Gulbarga district.

Police said that the deceased, Sunitha Ramani(24) was one of the 10-member group who went to the dam to see the cascading waters accidently fell into the swirling waters and washed away.

Police said that efforts are on to retrive the body and the incident occurred in the afternoon.
