UP cabinet to decide on Revenue Judicial Service Cadre
Allahabad, July 5 (UNI) Allahabad High Court has directd the Uttar Pradesh government to place the matter of the formation of the UP Revenue Judicial Service Cadre before the cabinet for taking policy decision.
Passing this order, Justice S N Srivastava asked chief standing counsel M C Chaturvedi to communicate the order to the cabinet secretary within three days.
The court passed this order on a writ petition filed by Chandrabhan. The court will now hear the case on August 24.
Earlier, it was brought to the notice of the court that the state government by means of a office memorandum of February 20 had formed a committee to go into the implications of the judgement of this court, regarding formation of the cadre.
It was submitted that some of the officers forming the posts of committee had stood transferred due to change of political equations in UP and in the circumatances, it was submitted that instructions were still awaited on the lines whether any decision had been taken in the matter by the committee or not.
