Naxalites rob country made rifle and rs 50,000 cash from a house

Bangalore, Jul 5 (UNI) Close on the heels of Police announcing the list of those allegedly helping Naxalites, a case of Naxalites striking at a house and robbing a country made rifle and cash Rs 50,000 was reported from Ulagarubylu in Sringeri Taluk of Chikamagalur District.

According to reports reaching here, a group of seven Naxalites, who had covered their face with cloth, struck at a house belonging to Mr Keshava Hegde last night and threatened the inmates at gun point before escaping with the country made rifle and cash.

The State Anti-Naxalites squad has launched search to nab the culprits.
