MRPL to ink petroleum product sale deal with STC, Mauritius

New Delhi, July 5 (UNI) The subsidiary of ONGC Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) will sign a contract with Mauritius-based State Trading Corporation (STC) for another round of delivery of petroleum products tomorrow.

It will be signed in the presence of Petroleum Minister Murli Deora, Minister of State of P&NG Mr Dinsha J Patel, Mauritian Minister of Industry, Small and Medium Enterprises, Commerce and Cooperatives Dr Rajesh Jeetah, Mr R S Sharma, Chairman of MRPL, and other Directors of ONGC and MRPL.

In August last year, MRPL delivered its first batch of petroleum products shipment to Mauritius.

The consignment consisting 4,000 tonnes of motor spirit, 10,000 tonnes of jet fuel and 19,000 tonnes of gas oil, was the first package as per the supply contract between MRPL and the State Trading Corporation of Mauritius.
