Jet flight for Delhi returned after fault developed in air

Kolkata, July 5 (UNI) A Jet Airways flight to Delhi returned to Kolkata airport soon after take off following an ''engineering fault'' according to airport officials.

The plane with 110 passengers aboard took off at 1730 hours for Delhi but returned to the city airport half-an-hour later following the technical fault and landed safely.

While some of the passengers were sent on another Jet flight later and the rest were accomodated to another private airliner for the national capital.

An Indian flight to Aizawl from the city airport could not land there due to bad weather and returned here this morning.
