Gillette announces special promotion price in TN

Chennai, July 5 (UNI) Gillette, the leader in men's shaving products, today announced a revolutionary special promotion price for its products exclusively for the benefit of people of Tamil Nadu.

The new promotional offers were launched by Kollywood actor Simbu at a function here.

Gillette Marketing Manager Sumeet Naarang told reporters that the company would offer its best selling twin blade shaving system, Vector Plus at a MRP of Rs 29 as against the present Rs 49.

The company would also offer special MRP on the cartridge pack of two and four which would now be available at Rs 20 and Rs 38 as against Rs 35 and Rs 65 respectively.

''With this offer, shaving for three weeks with Vector plus will only cost Rs 10'', he added.

Without going into the specifics on the company's financials and market share in the state, Mr Sumeet said Tamil Nadu was a big market and that was the reason for Gillette to come out with such a revoltuionary offer. ''We want every man in the state to use Gillette shaving products'', he added.
