Court quashes complaint on Shilpa Shetty-Gere kiss

Indore, July 5 (UNI) A local court today quahsed a complaint describing Hollywood star Richard Gere-Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty kiss in public during an AIDS awareness programme as obscene.

Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Sarla Bakarwal quashed Mr Indrajeet Singh Bhatia's complaint, as he was unable to furnish evidence.

Mr Bhatia had filed a complaint seeking action against Shilpa, Gere, organisers of the programme, Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasrin and others in connection with the case.
