City police launch investigation into Doctor duo's past

Bangalore, July 5 (UNI) The city police have launched investigation into anticidents of Sabeel Ahmed and Mohammad Haneef who were suspected to be involved in Glasgow Airport attack.

Police Commissioner N Achyuta Rao told reporters that the anti-terrorism cell had taken up investigation on the past of the two doctors who studied Medicine in a City college.

"Nobody have requested us for any information. However we have taken up the investigation", he said Meanwhile, the family including parents of Sabeel remained incommunicado today and did not answer calls from Journalists.

The two doctors studied in government Ambedkar Medical College in the city and were said to be relatives.

While Sabeel was held in Liverpool in England, Haneef was detained at Brisbane in Australia in connection with this weeks terror plot on Glasgow and London airports.
