BJP gears up to oust Madhu Koda government in Jharkhand
Jamshedpur, July 5 (UNI) The Jharkhand BJP will launch ''Oust Madhu Koda'' campaign on the line of ''Quit India'' movement on August nine, said state BJP chief Pashupati Nath Singh today.
Briefing newspersons at the end of the party's two-day working committee meeting here, Mr Singh said the party would demonstrate in front of all the Deputy Commissioners' offices under the ''Madhu Koda Gaddi Chhodo'' campaign.
He said the campaign would coincide with the 1942 '' Quit India'' movement.
He said more than 50,000 party workers would also take part in ''Jail Bharo'' movemnent on that day.
He said the two-day meet was historical as many important resolutions were adopted to strenghen the party from the grassroot level.
The meet was also considered crucial in view of the coming elections in the state and the party had decided to train the cadres for electoral success, Mr Singh said.
Describing the meet successful, Mr Singh said apart from organisational matter, the meet deliberated extensively on the ''rampant corruption'' and increasing naxal activities in the state.
He said the UPA government in the state had lost its credibility and had no right to continue in power.
He said the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha bypoll, slated to be held sometime in August, would be the turning point in the state's politics.
He, however, refused to divulge the name of the party candidate for the bypoll, saying the name would be decided later.
