4 arrested in Kalyani murder case, 3 Moga boys on the run

Shimla, July 5 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh police have arrested 4 people and are looking for three other persons from Moga, in Punjab who are alleged to be involved in the murder of Vikas Verma, a medical representative, who died on Sunday night.

District police chief AP Singh said, "the police have arrested Annes Khan from Chandigarh and Gurpreet Singh from Moga in connection with the murder that, took place at the Kalayani helipad, near Kufri.

Other than that the police have detained Shishupal and Aman, local boys, who are being questioned in connection with the murder, he added.

Mr. Singh said the investigation team had identified three other persons, all from Moga, who were involved in the murder. A team to arrest the concerned persons had been sent but the culprits are absconding. The police is also on the lookout for a vehicle, which ran over the victim resulting in his death, he added.

It is worthwhile to mention that four day ago a dead body was recovered near Helipad attached to the Retreat,place known as Rashtrpati Niwas in Shimla.

This incident has raised many questions pointing toward the secruity situation.The police is looking this case with upmost caution.
