Nikkei edges up as high-techs gain; Mitsui Trust falls
TOKYO, July 4 (Reuters) Japan's Nikkei average rose 0.2 percent on Wednesday as Advantest Corp. and other high-tech shares tracked gains in their U.S. peers, while Mitsui Trust Holdings fell on a secondary offering of stock.
The benchmark Nikkei average was up 32.17 points at 18,182.07 as of 0005 GMT, poised to gain for the fifth straight session.
The broader TOPIX index rose 0.05 percent to 1,782.76.
