JSW Steel posts 26 pc growth in crude steel prod
Mumbai, July 4: JSW Steel has achieved a growth of 26 per cent incrude steel production for the first quarter of current fiscal year.
The company has produced 7.07 lakh tonnes of Crude Steel in the period.
In segments HR Coils, Galvanised and Pre-painted GI, the companyattained production margins of 6.42 lakh tonnes, 1.85 lakh tonnes and0.22 lakh tonnes respectively, JSW informed BSE today.
However, in the HR Plates segment, the production fell by 15 percent to 0.36 lakh tonnes, which the company said, was due to theshutdown of plate mill for 25 days for modernization in May this year.
