Husband gets 10 years RI in dowry death case
Patna, July 3 (UNI) A local court here today sentenced a man to ten years jail in a dowry death case.
The court also awarded seven years jail to two of his relatives.
Additional district and sessions judge of Patna B K Srivastava found guilty Naveen Kumar (husband of the victim), his brother Mithilesh Kumar Sinha and sister Pinki Devi for committing the murder of Rubi Kumari for dowry.
Rubi Kumari was shot dead by her husband and her in-laws when the parents of victim failed to fulfil the demand of Rs 50,000 as dowry on December 10,2003.
