Two run over by train in Bihar

Bettiah, Jul 3 (UNI) Two people were killed when a tractor carrying them rammed into a speeding train at an unmanned railway crossing between Harinagar and Narkatiaganj railway stations under East Central Railway today.

Police said the incident took place when the ill-fated tractor was hit by the speeding 449 UP Narkatiaganj-Gorakhpur passenger train at an unmanned railway crossing near Chamua halt.

Senior railway officers rushed to the spot and restored movement of trains on the route, which was affected after the accident.

The victims were identified as Ajit Yadav and Vishwanath Paswan.
