Three dead after inhaling poisonous gas

Khagaria, Jul 03 (UNI) At least three people died and three others fell unconcious after inhaling poisonous gas emanating from an abandoned well at Badhara village under Gogri poice station here today.

Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Chandrashekhar Prasad here said father-son fell victim to the venomous gas after they stepped into the well to take out some article dropped into it by a child.

Another person, who tried to save the duo, also died after inhaling the gas.

Mr Prasad said three other people, who fell unconcious while trying to recover the bodies, have been rushed to a nearby hospital.
