Snake-bite claims 7 lives in Madhya Pradesh

Satna, MP, July 3: Seven people died of snakebite in this district last month, official sources said.

According to the district health office, 19 cases of snake-bites were reported mainly in Majhgawan, Rampur-Baghelan and Amdara areas and 12 victims were saved after treatment.

During 2006, 56 incidents of snake-bites were reported in Satna district and 33 people had died.
