Shimla and vicinity lashed with rain

Shimla, July 3 (UNI) Most part of Himachal Pradesh received mild to heavy rainfall in the past 24 hours. The State capital and its vicinity was lashed by heavy rainfall on this morning.

The rainfall is predicted to be good for horticulture and agriculture. Dharamshala recorded highest 42.4mm rain till afternoon.

The state capital received 30.5mm rainfall till noon. Palampur of district Kangra had 32.2 mm rainfall Sundernagar of District Mandi recorded 7.7.

Bhuntar of District Kullu recorded 11.9 mm, Una 5.4 mm and Nahan 11.6mm and Kalpa of district Kinnaur 11.9 mm.

The minimum temperature recorded at Shimla was 14.9 and maximum was 22, Sundernagar minimum was 21.1and maximum 30.5, Bhuntar minimum 20.2 and maximum 32.2, Kalpa minimum 11 and maximum 19.5, Dharamshala minimum 19.7 and maximum 32.8, Palampur minimum 18.9, Una minimum 23, Nahan minimum 22.6 and Solan minimum 21.

The Met office forecasts rainfall and thunder showers in many part and heavy rainfall at isolated places of Himachal pradesh for next 24 hours.
