New Delhi, July 3 (UNI) The Voter Council of Rajasthan today rubbished the contents of the allegations published in a Jaipur daily against Vice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat in the organisation's name and said it would seek appropriate legal action against those involved in the ''criminal conspiracy''.

President of Matadata Mandal Rajasthan, Prakash Shukla, in a letter to Mr Shekhawat, said the ''open letter'' published in 'Jaipur Mahanagar Times' today in the name of the Rajasthan Matadata Mandal, Manasarovar was ''utterly baseless and false''.

''It is the work of mean minded people with a motive to tarnish the image of the Vice-President.

''The Rajasthan Matadata Mandal has nothing to do with this so-called open letter and neither the organisation nor office-bearers or members has anything to do with it, Mr Shukla said.

Distributing the letter, Ms Sushma Swaraj-- the spokesperson for Mr Shekhawat-- said the written clarification by the President of the organisation was self explanatory and had totally dissociated the council from the ''open letter''.
