Prathiba Patil to visit Puducherry on July five

Puducherry, July 3 (UNI) UPA Presidential candidate Pratibha Patil will visit Puducherry on July five.

According to official sources, Ms Patil, enroute to Thiruvananthapuram would reach Puducherry from Chennai and address a meeting of the Legislators of the ruling Congress and its allies, in a private hotel here, to seek their support.

She would leave for Chennai in the afternoon and from there she would proceed to Thiruvananthapuram.

Meanwhile, a consultation meeting of the Congress and its allies was held here today to discuss and chalk out the arrangements for her visit.
