The sections under which Mr Yadav was arrested were highly indignified and lacked purpose.'' The Chairman noted the issue was critical, therefore, the erring official ought to be summoned in the House.

Mr Singh's observation was welcomed by all the members of the Upper House.

Yesterday, before the question hour could start, SP leaders had requested Mr Singh to hear Ram Nageena's case.
