NRI divorces wife over telephone

Amroha (Jyotiba Phulenagar), July 3 (UNI) An NRI divorced his wife over telephone from Dubai.

In a complaint, Tabassum of Daulat Shahid locality accused her Dubai-based spouse Sagar Abbas of divorcing her over telephone on Monday by pronouncing 'triple talaq'.

Tabassum said, ''the act is highly illegal and I am not ready to accept it.'' On the other hand, Abbas said ''I never wanted to marry Tabassum.
