K'taka: Monsoon session will begin from July 5

Bangalore, July 3: Karnataka Legislative Assembly Speaker Krishna today said a 19-day monsoon session will begin from July 5.

Mr Krishna told reporters that the session will take up 21 bills including Panchayat Raj, Minorities Commission, Money Lenders and Minimum Wages.

He said that it would also take up discussion on about 800 qustions by legislators related to their constituencies.

The session will end on July 31, he said.
