Mahindra unveils two new variants of Logan car
Chandigarh, July 3: With its recent entry into sedan car market, Mahindra Renault today unveiled here two new variants of Logan in petrol and diesel to enhance the value proposition for the customer.
The new models, 1.6 GLX (petrol) and 1.5 dCi DLX (diesel), priced at Rs 5.37 lakh and Rs 6.13 lakh respectively, ex-showroom Chandigarh, have been positioned in between the existing variants of the Logan and introduced on the basis of customer demand, Mr Nalin Mehta, Vice President(Sales and Marketing) of company in a press conference today.
"Loaded with many additional features, variant Logan is placed in a very competitive price band. The customers will certainly enjoy the ride in more leg space and spacious cabin which clearly reflects company's customer centric approach", he added.
Mr Mehta said that Logan, being manufactured at Nashik plant with an installed capacity to produce 50000 units annually, was launched in April 2007 and was rolled out in a phased manner across 11 cities in the country.
Since then, the Logan clocked impressive sales figures of 2,786 units in May and followed by equally good performance of 2,389 units in June.
