HCL launches 'Datacentre in a Box' for SMEs
New Delhi, July 3: Noida-based HCL Infosystems Ltd today launched 'Datacentre in a Box', an integrated solution that meets IT infrastructure requirements of small and medium enterprises.
''The solution is designed to handle complete IT needs of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), while offering the advantages of simplified one point solution, reducing IT deployment and maintenance costs and offering a nation wide reach for support,'' company's Executive Vice President George Paul said.
'Data centre in a box' offers a simplified one-point solution to all the IT infrastructure needs that an emerging business has. The solution comes with high-technology modules along with network components and remote management systems in a single rack with space and power-saving design that is highly cost-effective for the emerging enterprises.
HCL also plans to have a pan-India road show of the solutions focusing on the SMB clusters.
Most SMEs require IT solutions that simplify the complexity, are affordable, scalable and have good back up support, the company said in a statement.
HCL 'Datacentre in a Box' is designed to be simple yet it can support business applications, including ERP, CRM, SCM, mail, web (proxy) and print services, that are required by SMEs, the statement added.
