EMAAR MGF Construction Pvt. Ltd. Bid for CW Games Accepted

New Delhi, July 3 (UNI) The Financial bid of EMAAR-MGF Construction Pvt. Ltd for the Commonwealth Games Village was opened today and was accepted at Rs 321 crores against a reserve price of Rs 300 crores.

EMAAR-MGF has deposited the 25 per cent of the bid amount i.e.

80.5 crores, a DDA release said.

Fourteen developers had requested for qualification and shown interests in taking up the construction of the village. Out of 14, only 11 qualified. Out of these 11, only two had submitted their bids for construction of the village but the bid of M/s DLF was found to be incomplete and conditioned, therefore, disqualified.

The layout design of the village has already been prepared by M/s Suresh Goel and Associates and the detailed drawings on acceptance of the financial bid will be made by EMAAR MGF based on the concept and development controls approved by DDA.

The timeline for completion of Commonwealth Games is December 31, 2009.
