Elecon Engineering wins Rs 58 crore order from BHEL

New Delhi, July 3 (UNI) Gearbox maker Elecon Engineering Co Ltd today said it has bagged Rs 58 crore order from state-run engineering major Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL).

Under the order, the company will design, engineering, civil and structural work, erect and commission mechanical equipment for lignite stone handling system of Surat Lignite Power Plant of Gujarat Industrial Power Company Ltd (GIPCL) Thermal Power Station.

Established in 1951, Elecon Engineering Company Ltd manufactures material handling equipment in the country.
