Eicher Motors sales up 10 pc in June

New Delhi, July 3: Commercial vehicle manufacturer Eicher Motors today reported a 10 per cent jump in sales at 2,464 units in June this year as compared to the same month last year.

Domestic sales rose by 12 per cent to 2,271 units but exports fell 4.5 per cent to 193 units during the month, the company said in a statement.

During the month, year-to-date(YTD) growth in total comercial vehicle (CV) sales is 14 per cent, the statement added.

Eicher Motors, founded in 1982 to manufacture a range of reliable, fuel-efficient commercial vehicles of contemporary technology, manufactures and markets commercial vehicles with gross vehicle weight (GVW) ranging from 5-25 tonnes.

Eicher Motors is one of the leading manufactures of commercial vehicles in India with a 33 per cent market share in the 7T-11T segment. The manufacturing facility is situated in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh.
