DTC issues computerised bus pass on its own technology

New Delhi, July 3 (UNI) Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) today said it has started issuing computerised bus pass based on the software designed and developed by Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC).

It will enable DTC to issue bus pass on their own which was previously being undertaken by a private agency, said a statement.

''This software takes automatic data back every day to keep it secure and safe and to avoid any duplicacy,'' said DSIIDC Managing Director Manoj Parida.

DSIIDC has been awarded Golden Icon (first prize) for the software titled FTS and Bar Code System, which is an initiative towards e-governance, he added.
