Dead man booked for 'power theft'

Amroha, July 3 (UNI) In a bizarre incident, a case of power theft was registered against a man, who died eight years ago in the Jyotibaphule Nagar district.

In order to curb power theft, a raid was conducted at Saidangali area yesterday and a case was registered against Preetam Saran Gupta, police said today.

After investigation, it was revealed that Preetam's widow was living in the house alone.
