Court takes cognizance against Bank manager
Patna, July 3 (UNI) The special CBI judge of Patna, Ram Shreshtha Rai, today took cognizance in a bribery case against a bank manager.
The cognizance was taken by the designated judge under the various sections of prevention of corruption Act, against Prakash Bhushan Singh, former manager of Sahebgunj branch in Muzaffarpur district of Uttar Bihar Chhetriya Gramin Bank.
According to the charges, the bank manager was arrested by the CBI sleuths while accepting a bribe of Rs 2000 from a customer for releasing the subsidy amount of a loan on March 28,2007.
