Bus mows down motorbike-borne girls

Kapurthala, July 3 (UNI) Two motorbike-borne girls were killed in an accident near Khera Dona village on Kapurthala-Sultanpur Lodhi road here today.

According to police, the victims were going to Sultanour Lodhi on a motorcyle when a speeding private bus hit the vehicle, killing them on the spot.

The driver of the bus fled away with the bus after the accident but the police later found and impounded the bus near local bus stand.

The identity of both the grirls was yet to be established.

Police have registered a case against the bus driver.
