Book on Kailash Mansarovar released

Mumbai, Jul 3 (UNI) Union Minister for Power and former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Sushil Kumar Shinde today released the Hindi edition of Marathi book, 'Apoorn Parikrama', written by veteran photographer Mohan Bane.

The Marathi book written by Bane in 1998, is about Bane's journey of Kailash Mansarovar, in which he has added many photographs of the journey.

The Union Minister, while inaugurating the book, said that the role of the photographers and cameramen in journalism had increased, and jokingly added that politicians have to be very careful about their actions at any given point of time.

Bane, in his career of 27 years, has worked for many publications and is renowned among the fraternity of photographers.
