atleast fifteen miners feared killed in a mine mishap

Dhanbad, Jul 3 (UNI) At least 15 people, while engaged in illegal mining, were feared killed in an abandoned mine of BCCL in Dhanbad of Jharkhand today.

BCCL General Manager Ajay Kumar told UNI over phone tonight he was rushing to Bhagdi coal mines, the site of incidence, about 30 km from here to make an on-the-spot verification.

Police said about 15 people who were digging out coal illegally from the abandoned mine.
