3 'zeharkhurani' victims hospitalised

Pratapgarh, July 3 (UNI) Three passengers were taken off a train in an unconscious state, after they became the targets of a 'zeharkhurani' (drug and rob) gang here today.

Government Railway Police (GRP) sources said two of the passengers, identified as Shiv Kumar and Ram Sahay, were given food laced with posion by the gang when they were on way to Sultanpur.

Another victim remained unidentified.

The trio were taken off at the Pratapgarh railway station and rushed to hospital in a critical state.

Meanwhile, the body of an elderly man was also recovered from the railway station.
